『虹の戦士』語り＋旅のお話 2019年2月18日、Punga Ponga（那覇市）

こんなイベントに参加してきました。「虹の戦士」はインディアンの老婆と少年の物語。同名本を引用した語りに演奏と踊リが加わってとても面白かった。語り手の坂口さんは演劇をされている方のようで、声もよく通り劇的な語りでした。

演奏は沖縄民謡をアレンジしたものが中心で、これが不思議とカナダの古いお話によくあっていました。サムピアノやバウランなど世界中の打楽器が使われて、聴きどころ満載でした。育さんの踊りも、「やちむん」での時とは違う雰囲気でお話にぴったりだったと思います。自分にとってはとても刺激的なパーフォーマンスでした。前段のカナダ、ブラジルの先住民のお話も興味深く聞きました。

この日は話に出ませんでしたが、お店には台湾先住民の資料なども置いてありました。アイヌ、沖縄にも同じような問題があるようです。素敵なお店での刺激的なイベントをありがとうございました。

I participated in such an event. "Warriors of the Rainbow" is a story of an Indian old lady and a boy. It was very fun to add musical performance and dance to the talk quoted the same name book. Ms. Kanako Sakaguchi, a narrator, is an actress in the theater, so in this performance, her voice was very dramatic. The music performance was mainly composed of Okinawan folk songs, which seemed strange but actually it was very nice with old Canadian stories. Percussion instruments around the world such as Thumb Piano and Bodhran were used and it was full of listening. I think that dancing was perfect for talking in an atmosphere different from the "Yachimun" performance I often experienced. It was a very exciting performance for me. I also listened to the stories of the indigenous peoples of Canada and Brazil of the former stage interestingly. They did not have a talk on Taiwan this day, but the shop also had materials from Taiwan. Ainu and Okinawa seem to have similar problems, right? Thank you very much for such an exciting event in a wonderful shop.
